Are you still in the bondage of sin? [pt1]

How do you know?

  1. You still have fear
  2. You still have regret
  3. You feel separated from God
  4. You blame God
  5. You try to make deals with God
  6. You still sin, and try to cover it up
    1. Alcoholism
    2. Gambling Addiction
    3. Porn Addiction
    4. Lying Addiction
    5. Facebook Addiction
    6. Spending Addiction
    7. Hoarding Addiction
    8. etc
  7. You take actions that are in opposition to your well being
  8. You cannot seem to succeed at a commitment, regardless of your desire
  9. etc

What is the solution?

Find in the bible where there is a law that laboring by the flesh will solve your problems. Find in the bible where anything by your flesh will produce anything other than dirty rags or less.

Isaiah 64 NASB:

  1. Oh, that You would rend the heavens and come down,
That the mountains might quake at Your presence—
  2. As fire kindles the brushwood, as fire causes water to boil—
To make Your name known to Your adversaries,
That the nations may tremble at Your presence!
  3. When You did awesome things which we did not expect,
You came down, the mountains quaked at Your presence.
  4. For from days of old they have not heard or perceived by ear,
Nor has the eye seen a God besides You,
Who acts in behalf of the one who waits for Him.
  5. You meet him who rejoices in doing righteousness,
Who remembers You in Your ways.
Behold, You were angry, for we sinned,
    We continued in them a long time;
    And shall we be saved?
  6. For all of us have become like one who is unclean,
    And all our righteous deeds are like a filthy garment;
And all of us wither like a leaf,
And our iniquities, like the wind, take us away.
  7. There is no one who calls on Your name,
    Who arouses himself to take hold of You;
For You have hidden Your face from us
And have delivered us into the power of our iniquities.

Your solution is simple: You cannot make yourself righteous. So turn to God for your righteousness. From there, your sins are taken care of.

Romans 4:9 – 5:14

9 Is this blessing then on the circumcised, or on the uncircumcised also? For we say, “FAITH WAS CREDITED TO ABRAHAM AS RIGHTEOUSNESS.” 10 How then was it credited? While he was circumcised, or uncircumcised? Not while circumcised, but while uncircumcised; 11 and he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had while uncircumcised, so that he might be the father of all who believe without being circumcised, that righteousness might be credited to them, 12 and the father of circumcision to those who not only are of the circumcision, but who also follow in the steps of the faith of our father Abraham which he had while uncircumcised.

13 For the promise to Abraham or to his descendants that he would be heir of the world was not through the Law, but through the righteousness of faith. 14 For if those who are of the Law are heirs, faith is made void and the promise is nullified; 15 for the Law brings about wrath, but where there is no law, there also is no violation.

16 For this reason it is by faith, in order that it may be in accordance with grace, so that the promise will be guaranteed to all the descendants, not only to those who are of the Law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all, 17 (as it is written, “A FATHER OF MANY NATIONS HAVE I MADE YOU”) in the presence of Him whom he believed, even God, who gives life to the dead and calls into being that which does not exist. 18 In hope against hope he believed, so that he might become a father of many nations according to that which had been spoken, “SO SHALL YOUR DESCENDANTS BE.” 19 Without becoming weak in faith he contemplated his own body, now as good as dead since he was about a hundred years old, and the deadness of Sarah’s womb; 20 yet, with respect to the promise of God, he did not waver in unbelief but grew strong in faith, giving glory to God, 21 and being fully assured that what God had promised, He was able also to perform. 22 Therefore IT WAS ALSO CREDITED TO HIM AS RIGHTEOUSNESS. 23 Now not for his sake only was it written that it was credited to him, 24 but for our sake also, to whom it will be credited, as those who believe in Him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead, 25 He who was delivered over because of our transgressions, and was raised because of our justification.

5:1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom also we have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand; and we exult in hope of the glory of God. 3 And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; 4 and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope; 5 and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

6 For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For one will hardly die for a righteous man; though perhaps for the good man someone would dare even to die. 8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him. 10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. 11 And not only this, but we also exult in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.

12 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned— 13 for until the Law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law. 14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam until Moses, even over those who had not sinned in the likeness of the offense of Adam, who is a type of Him who was to come.

Correcting the Aggressions Against God’s People

Not Seeing The Violations Of Nonaggression (NAP) Against God’s People

Problem 1 – The Unrecognized Violation of NAP.

Some Examples

  1. The evil God (The bloody God who looks for reasons to slaughter people.)
  2. The bondage God (The God who wants robots and slaves)
  3. The thoughtless heartless God (The God who only wants to support his vanity, and we are to be screwed at his whims.

The problem with these is that they are all lies. I’ll cover more on this later.

Problem 2 – Inconsistencies and Contradictions

  1. Failing churches of traditional religion, rather than growing churches of the body of Christ Jesus.

Some Examples:

  1. The trinity, which that word is not found in the scriptures. (I am not denying any name or claim Jesus made of himself. The word trinity just cannot be found in the scriptures, and man’s titles for the Father and the Son as but dust compared to the ones that he gave himself. And as for the Holy Ghost, which is Pneuma Hagion, this is more literally translated as holy breath or holy air. Pneuma is air, and hagion is holy. So why do I need to create new names for God when he has given us so many that describe him so perfectly. Let’s not mess this up.)
  2. Paul was told to not go to Jerusalem, then they prophesied for him to not to go to Jerusalem, even Paul said that his spirit withheld him from going, yet he went and all the bad stuff happened. But yet, Paul was supposedly doing what God wanted? This is really an issue of punctuation, chapter breaks, and verse breaks. If your church isn’t covering these transnational issues with you, then you are not getting the word of God.
  3. “I try to base my political views on Christ.” Wha?! Christ Jesus again and again snubbed the governments. Tax collector tried to collect taxes from Jesus, his answer was that if they found any coin in the fish caught, that would be used to pay taxes. Great isn’t it! Even better was the turning over of the tables in the temples from the money changers. And there are more. However, the church teaches obedience to the state, and conformity to the church of the great and terrible business called government.

Undoing the damages of and to Man

To start with the bible was never originally written in English, French, Italian, Russian, Spanish, etc… The bible was written in Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek. Old Testament was Hebrew, and the New Testament was Aramaic and Greek, and even Mathew was found to also be written in Hebrew. That being said, the books of the bible were never broken down into Chapters, and Verses. Just looking at the Epistle of Paul, to the Romans, which was a letter. Here we made it into a book of the bible. But we didn’t just call it a book, we added chapters, verses, punctuation, and italicized words. It was a letter. Read it as a letter. Go even further, and remove the punctuation, and see where the sentences naturally break.

Let’s go one more step into Romans, There is a phrase “Oh Man”. That phrase is not ever to be translated to YOU. It is to be translated to be the NATURE OF MAN. Meaning that Chapters 1 and 2 of Romans, when read with that information, are telling us that we are pretty much screwed by our very flesh nature.

Then when we continue to read, we discover that the law, The Mosaic Law, was never meant to make us perfect, even though it was perfect. But rather, it was designed to point out the one who could make us perfect. It was The Prophesy of Christ Jesus. A law cannot be fulfilled, it can be nullified, but the Mosaic Law was never nullified, it was fulfilled. The law still stands, but we are not judged by it unless we are to ignore that we are saved from judgment by the instructions found in Romans 10:9-10.

So should we sin by the measure of the law? To what benefit? Are we to prove the righteousness of Christ Jesus? He is righteous if you sin or don’t, so why seek sin? Should we resume obedience to the law? We are called the body of Christ, and Jesus is the head. The body cannot sin, unless the head wills it to. So our very existence is the obedience to the law.

Should we resume the sacrifices before the altar? Who would be the priest?

I tell you now, the Lamb of God, made perfect by God, called out to be the payment for our sins was already sacrificed, and you cannot sacrifice a single dove or goat more to change your righteousness that was given to you freely in Christ.

What of the law? What of Idolatry?

If you know who your father is, and he is standing beside you, why would you call a stranger “Dad”? If you are in a perfectly safe house, why would you run outside in the middle of a hailstorm? If there is food at the table, and a seat for you, why would you eat off of the floor? But these are the exact things that we as “OH MAN” do regularly.

God says that he is closer than our very next breath, but yet we turn from him at a moment’s notice to seek our own wisdom on things that are clearly outside of our wisdom. No I am not saying end science, philosophy, and other cerebral works. I am saying that when you hit the wall of knowledge and wisdom, maybe it is time for you to turn to God, and expect Him to provide you with serious inspiration. I make my wages by writing software; and I hit these walls all the time; God does inspire.

But let’s go the next step, why scrounge for scraps on the floor like a dog when the dinner table is set for you? Sit up there and eat as one of the chosen of God. Why stand in the freezing cold like a transient, when you have a warm home in Christ to stand in? Why call a false idol father, when your real father stands right there next to you?

That is the law too us. If we cannot see God, we can see the law. If we are lost outside, we can go to the law and find our way to Christ. If we are starving, we can seek the dinner plan from the menu itself. If we cannot sense God, we can see what is written about Him, so we can see him in our hearts.

“Closer than our very next breath” does not mean that God is outside of us, just waiting for us to inhale. It means that He is in us, waiting to come out and show us who we are to Him.

Why follow God at all?

There is a libertarian statement that I find completely true. “No man is worth following, or worth being called King, if he has to be elected by “inferior humans” or has to use force to bend us to his will.”

This is the great flaw of politics. Man is not worthy to rule over man. Even if he just steps up and claims his authority without election, but still has to use force to enforce his will, then he is a false king.

So that is where the evil bible claims appear to hold their water, but that is a fallacy. Most of the Old Testament has modern translation words added to the scriptures. These are along the path of “bend to my will, or I will torture and kill you.” where they should have been phrased, according to how the Hebrew was written, “Eat of the good fruit and you will be healed, but eat of the bad fruit and you will be poisoned.”

Why would the name God the Healer be used, but yet the example used seems to read like God the torturer? The problem is that the scriptures again and again, in modern translation, accredit the good and the bad to God, when God does not accredit the bad to himself. We see less of this in the New Testament when the Devil is made clearer.

So the vain God is nothing more than our father saying don’t call that stranger standing before me God, and the same God has given us Everything, Heirs to the richness of His throne. Let me explain that, you get everything, you did nothing for it, and Jesus sacrificed himself for you, so you could get it all for free, and you don’t have to do anything to earn it, and you still consider him the God of bondage?

But he doesn’t answer my prayers!

What are you praying for? Are you begging and pleading for it, or are you praying that you can grow into his plan? Look at the prayers of the bible. They fall into pretty darn clear patterns.

  1. Thankfulness. I don’t need anything, I am just thankful that you have taken care of me.
  2. Information. I am lost, but I trust that you will build me us and show me the way.
  3. Weakness. I am weak, but I trust that you will guide me to the path that I can overcome this, and who me what I need to do.
  4. Wisdom. I am about to embark on this event, I thank you for watching over my hands that I may serve the needs of this body of Christ the best way possible.
  5. Imminent danger or distress. Father without your loving kindness towards your own children, I am lost. I thank you for coming to my rescue as you have called yourself my shepherd.
  6. A source of strength. I thank you father that you have called yourself my banner, that I may knowingly come to you and rally with the body of Christ in times of need.

Has he really never answered your prayers? Were you in dire straits and life on the line? Are you still alive now? You may not have seen his hand at work, but if someone came to your rescue, who is to say that it wasn’t God who inspired them to do so? However, if you lost everything, home, family, income, limbs, are you yet alive today? Did you pray for everything to be rescued, or just your life? If it was for another person, were they standing with you in their believing for deliverance? Did you even believe?

Two football teams are coming together for a game. Their fans pray for victory over the other team. Who wins?

It isn’t the team that prays harder. I can tell you that. It isn’t for God to do your sports for you. It is for God to apply as much of his loving grace over the game, to protect as many of the people on the field and stands as the believing of the people will allow. The better team will still win.

So God wants robots and slaves of us?

What is the whole theme and pattern here? He has done everything for us; all we have to do is to accept. Job done. How is that slavery?

In Summary

  1. Politicians are violating the core of Christian beliefs. There is no wiggle room there.
  2. When the bible seems inconsistent, then there are plenty of resources that will help make it clear. I will be publishing more of those on my own too.
  3. God loves us enough that he did everything for us through Christ Jesus, that all we have to do is to accept.
  4. You will have to read my free book Christian Freedom, if you want my notes on Trinity.

Distances travelled on the wrong paths

I see that you have come here to seek some great wisdom, or some mighty knowledge, but all of that pursuit is folly.

You can pass on wisdom and knowledge. You can train others to walk your path. However, when you do, you remove their path, and you put them in bondage that you have been walking through.

You may exclaim that you have become victorious over your trials, but if they walk the way you do now, then your trials were never theirs to begin with. You may have found the secret for your success or desires, but is it theirs? What is in their heart? What fills them?

When I help shed darkness from one’s life, it isn’t about what they must do, or what great wisdom I must put on them. What I give them is what was done for them. Why was it done for them? What is their gain for it done for them? If I pass a law to their flesh, it is just to keep them from walking off a cliff, or into a fire. But my law has no strength, and cannot bind, so is it a law? No, it is just my observation.

Do you want to walk in my shoes? Don’t. My path was dark, and dangerous. To walk my path is to say that it was superior to the path that is before you. You have your path. If it is in Christ Jesus, then it is a righteous path, and will take you far. If it is a path of this world, then shine the light of Christ on it, and see that this path was not your path, but the path of those who were dead or dying without Christ Jesus.

Walking by the path of Christ is not warring; it is not full of theft, and commands, and violence. It isn’t filled with hate, or viciousness. Walking by the path of Christ is walking by the love of God. It is walking knowing that the Shepherd is near, and will not let you go alone.

By chance, if you die before your time, then it was your time. How can it be otherwise? But to see another way, if you die early, then your path was finished early that you could walk by earthen feet. Mortality has to be shed that you may put on immortality. Death must be shed that you can put on life. Christ must return that we, who are alive in Christ and asleep in Christ, may join with him, in our immortal bodies, for we will have shed death.

You walk by Christ, not that you seek what he would do, but what he did. What would he do is to walk the path that Jesus Christ did, but when he proclaimed it is done, what are we to do? Can you finish that which was already finished? Is it foolishness to build the house that is already built, and founded on a strong foundation? Why would you try to build the house again, and find another foundation? We are already on the best foundation, the Rock of Ages, the Christ Jesus. Any other foundation is loss to us. For we would build a new house and it will topple or sink, and be no more.

How shameful many seek another Christ other than that of Christ Jesus not even knowing who Christ Jesus is. They seek a new miracle, not seeing that another new messiah is no more than another thief stealing the love of God from them, that they may seek the love of flesh.

But can see blame those who seek prophets from men when the whole of all nations seek the great prophet from elected men who wield ink and paper as if it were a great power, and order devout men of lost purpose to lay down their lives in the blood of other men’s sins. There is no salvation for those who have turned from Christ Jesus, to seek their own glory by the flesh, and sword, and ink and paper.

Men will rise and fall; nations will come and go; mountains will fall, the land will shake, and the people will cry “ABBA!” before their false kings of rot and flesh. Take no heed! These are distractions. The power of God is the Word of God. It lives in the hearts of those who seek God and call him Father. It comes for those who have come to know that their flesh is for nothing more than pleasure after its own kind, then death, then rot. Dust your life started, and Dust it ultimately returns.

So should you die of condemnation for the sins by the flesh? Does dirt die because it is dirty? By our flesh we are already dead. We were born by the flesh into death. You start life crying and wailing, grow into a young person full of lusts and mighty ambitions, and then grow old filled with regret, and die crying and wailing. What ambition is in death? What is your flesh besides dust? Regard not your flesh, for it is the habitation of sin, but regard your life in Christ.

He was the first of many. As a wheat plant, his seed was first, and the blossomed into many seeds, then died and his seed was scattered. He was then taken up again, to site at the head of the Body of the Chosen, the body of Christ, His body of Christ.

His seeds were carried by his first born brethren, that they would spread the same seed to all who would believe. We are but the dust which that seed was planted into. As we water that seed, keeping our minds on what was done for us in Christ Jesus, and remove the weeds that would choke out that seed, casting down Imaginations and all high things that stand against the knowledge of God, then, and only then can we walk, knowing that we are holding in captivity the obedience of Christ Jesus, to keep that seed free of distractions. That seed is eternal, where we, by the flesh are temporal.

When the universe dies, the surely all flesh shall die. When death of all comes, it is in those, who have invested themselves into their future life, which will stand after that judgement, as they were judged worthy to hold the seed, and fully come into their victory.

What foolishness can stand against that victory? What mysticism or mythology of the flesh can stand forward against the eternity of Holy Spirit and not be exposed by the lies of the flesh.

You read this and either decry hallelujah and amen, or meh is not but dogma. But I say, your words are your judgement, and they carry the weight of your future. Seek not your destruction, but the salvation that is in Christ Jesus.

And many who scream with delight, for they see the light of Christ in this letter, will still cry to the ballot box, and the elected official, and the media, and the government officials, and grumble that your own will not be done. How shall your will have any measure without the victory of Christ. How can you influence one man but to pay him to his god, which is mammon, and give up your eternity with Christ. Are you not above all things of this world? Are you not of the RISEN Christ? Then why do you fall to your hands and knees to pray to such men that would steal from you in your favor, and give but a portion back to you in means that you may not have wanted.

Is it not God who should receive all glory and tithes that his people’s cabinets may be filled with food, and his people’s feet shod with good shoes? But you would have elected men, send messengers to you and your neighbors to steal your money, and when you refuse, to steal your lands, and jail you by their paper and ink. And you will bless them and curse God, because you will have forgotten that He told us to not make for ourselves kings and rulers.

How can you sing songs of praises to God, and yet you pay to the devil. Your songs are hollow to him who would want to hear from you and sharp to him who steals from you. You have replaced the living God with dead flesh as it wobbles and stumbles as in imaginations as if it were alive. However it only breaths the recited lies of the death of this world, which it passes as the new gospel, which isn’t a gospel, but a new law that binds us all in new sin.

Oh how silly you have become to seek death, and glorify it in an orgy of political screams of falsetto ecstasy. Chanting the verbal drums of your next savior, who will fail too, and still leave you in debt, and death. You are lost until you finally turn back to Christ Jesus. You are blind until you finally open your eyes to His light, the light that he reflects from God Almighty.

El Shaddai, Elohim, YHWH, Jehova, “I am”; his names are righteous, and we have missed them for too long. Rejoice that he has not set us aside and forgotten us. His love and grace is immeasurable. Rejoice and be glad that even with all we have failed, he counts us as his own, and resides with us and in us. Rejoice that we are counted among the living, not by our hands but by His plan from the beginning that Jesus would be the perfect lamb to bring us back to Him perfectly. Rejoice in that the work is done. Rejoice.

When he was on that cross and stated it is finished, we believe he meant it, otherwise the writings of Paul would be made useless.

If you are a web developer, and looking for something to do, we are looking for volunteers. Skills that we are looking for:

  • Front End
    • HTML5
    • CSS3
    • Javascript (ECMA 5+)
    • AngularJs 1.4+
    • Twitter Bootstrap 3+
  • Backend
    • Undecided
    • Plan A – .NET on Linux (Yes you can do that now.) against MySQL
    • Plan B – .NET on Windows (Yes you can do that now.) against MySQL
    • Plan C – PHP on Linux against MySQL
    • Plan D – Yes, there is a plan D, but we are still considering what that may be. Because at the moment it looks like sticking with WordPress.
