MY IDENTITY IN CHRIST
“As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.” Prov. 23:7a
- I am a child of God (Rom. 8: 16, I John 3:1&2, Gal. 3:26).
- God is my Father (Rom. 1:7).
- I am a saint, a holy one (Rom. 1:7, Eph. 1:1).
- I am sanctified, set apart from others who are not sanctified (I Cor. 1:2).
- Jesus Christ is my Lord, my master. (I Cor. 1:2, Rom. 1:3).
- I am a recipient of eternal life through God’s son, Jesus Christ (I John 5:11-12).
- I am delivered from this present evil world by the ransom of Jesus Christ’s life (Gal.1:4).
- I have peace with God through my lord, Jesus Christ (Rom. 5:1, Eph. 2:14).
- I am made righteous through Jesus Christ’s obedience (Rom. 5:19).
- I am cared for by God’s mighty hand (I Pet. 5:6-7).
- I am an heir of God and a joint-heir with Christ (Rom. 8:17).
- I am passed from death unto life (I John 3:14).
- I am dead to sin (Rom. 6:2).
- I am baptized into Christ Jesus (Rom. 6:3).
- I have been raised from the dead to walk in newness of life (Rom. 6:4). Old things are passed away, new things have come (II Cor. 5:17).
- I am one who shall not come into condemnation, but I am passed from death unto life (John 5:24).
- I am immersed/baptized in the name of Jesus Christ (Acts 2:38).
- I am one who has put on (been clothed with) Christ (Gal. 3:27).
- I am united with all who are in Christ Jesus (Gal. 3:28).
- I am alive unto God in Christ Jesus (Rom. 6:11).
- I am free from sin (Rom. 6:18).
- I am identified with [him in] the likeness of his death, so also of [his] resurrection (Rom. 6:5).
- I am made free from the law of sin and of death (Rom. 8:2).
- I am an heir of the world with Abraham my father (Rom. 4:12-13).
- I am forgiven of all my sins (Rom. 4:7).
- I am one of whose sin the Lord will not take account (Rom. 4:8).
- I am justified through the Lord Jesus Christ (Rom. 5:1).
- I am one in whom Christ is, and I have the spirit of Christ (Rom. 8:9-10).
- I am delivered from the power of darkness, and I have been translated into the kingdom of God’s dear son (Col. 1:13).
- I am one in whom the love of God has been poured (Rom. 5:5).
- I am blessed with all spiritual blessings (Eph. 1:3).
- I am more than a conqueror through him that loved me (Rom. 8:37).
- I am appearing as a luminary in the world having on the word of life (Phil. 2:1516).
- I am married to him who was raised from the dead (Rom. 7:4).
- I am healed by the stripes of Jesus Christ (I Pet. 2:24).
- I have received and have been sealed with the holy spirit of promise (Eph. 1:13).
- I am holy and without blame before God (Eph. 1:4).
- I am an adopted child of God by Jesus Christ (Eph.1:5).
- I am triumphant in Christ (II Cor. 2:14).
- I am God’s own handiwork, created in Christ Jesus upon good works which He has pre-destined me to practice (Eph. 2:10).
- I am going to be clothed upon with my body which is from heaven (II Cor. 5:1-4).
- I am reconciled to God by the death of His son (Rom. 5:10).
- I was foreknown by God (Rom. 8:29).
- I was predestinated by God to be conformed to the image of His son (Rom. 8:29).
- God is for me who can be against me? (Rom. 8:31)
- Who will bring any charge against me whom God has chosen? Shall God who justified me? (Rom. 8:33)
- My citizenship is in heaven (Phil. 3:20).
- I have fellow-citizenship with all the saints (Eph. 2:19).
- I am a fellow-heir, a fellow-member of the body, and a fellow-partaker of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel with all who believe (Eph. 3:6).
- I died, and my life is hid with Christ in God (Col. 3:3).
- I am going to appear with Christ in glory when he appears (Col. 3:4).
- I am a partaker of the heavenly calling (Heb. 3:1).
- I have access through one spirit unto the Father (Eph. 2:18).
- I am of the household of God (Eph. 2:19).
- I am built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself is the chief corner stone (Eph. 2:20).
- God shall supply all my need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Phil. 4:19).
- God who began a good work in me will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus (Phil. 1:6).
- I have received the spirit of God that I might know the things that have been freely given to me of God (I Cor. 2:12).
- I am a member of a chosen race, a kingly priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession (I Pet. 2:9).
- I am completely complete in Christ (Col. 2:10).
- I am forgiven of all trespasses (Col. 2:13).
- I am the object of God’s grace in the Beloved One, Christ (Eph. 1:6).
- I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. (Gal. 2:20).
- I am a new creation in Christ (II Cor. 5:17).
